Er bara nokkuð hissa á að ekki sé búið að tilnefna hljómsveitina The Cure fyrr. Með sanni má segja að hljómsveitin sé komin á fullorðinsaldur, stofnuð 1976 og hafa gefið út 13 stúdíóplötur frá þeim tíma. Misgóðar plötur eins og vænta má en Disintegration er klárlega ein af þeim allra bestu. Kom út 1989, 71 mínútna plata og lögin flest 5-9 mínútna löng."Deluxe edition" kom svo út fyrir skemmstu með fullt af aukaefni. Pictures of you er 7,24 mínútur eins og það hljómar á plötunni. Óhætt er að segja að Robert Smith sé einstakur söngvari.
